I love art, and there are so many mediums I love to work in (I suppose this is why mixed media is really my favorite medium). I find it completing to combine photography with painting and printmaking methods.
At the moment, my main focus is on further discovering alternative photo printing methods such as cyanotypes, van dykes, liquid light, and gum bichromate. I have done all of the above mentioned but not gum bichromate- so that is the next experiment. I would also love to experiment with polaroid transfers in the near future.

But thanks for going to my site. I really, really like your work a lot. I am really wondering if you have ever seen Cy Twombly's work? The reason why I ask..is because by looking at your work..I think you would like his. He is one of my favorite artists. I recently was given a book on him for my birthday...and there is a museum here in Houston devoted to him.
I was just wondering how old you were and how long you have been doing art?
Nice talking to you,
Shannon
your work is brilliant
your site is very nice. i am sorry to hear about your mother, my father just died of lymphoma last month. there isn't really anyone can say when someone dies, well there isn't for me at least. it is really different for everyone. As an aritst you will be able to find strength doing your work and strength from the spirit of your mother. take care, you look wonderful in your pictures. kind wishes -jen

My world is always ending, no matter what,
and I've little reason to not want it to end.
However, a woman... a certain woman slows down that ending...
and gives it reason.
